It was another long bus day, so I got up extra early for one last wander around. It was beautiful out, sunny and breezy. I found a cute alleyway that led down to the water, so I wandered that way and sat by the water for awhile. I slowly headed back to the hotel for breakfast, finding a few new doorways and dog statues on the way. I went back to Andelen, where I begrudgingly packed up everything and headed out. I did not want to leave!
We met the bus, and drove to the harbor to catch the ferry. It was a cold and windy ride back but I stayed outside for the views! We drove to Helsingør, where Pinge dropped us off for lunch. There was a large indoor food market, but I wandered with a group through town to find something for lunch. We found a restaurant and sat outside in the sun. I tried smorbrod again, and it was again delicious! Our group met back at the bus, where we caught another ferry back to Sweden. It was a very quick ferry ride, and we noticed a lot of passengers buying huge cases of beer, and we learned it was apparently cheaper to buy in Denmark? We then had a long bus ride to Varberg for the night. We were staying in a hotel owned by a Communist man, and the decor was very interesting! There was something covering every inch of all the rooms and your eye didn't quite know where to go. My room was incredibly tiny and I had to do a little bit of Tetris to fit myself and my bag in it. Heidi took us on a walk down to the water where there was a bathhouse, then set us free for the night. I wandered through town, but it was pretty quiet so I headed to a grocery store for some dinner that I took back to my room. It was a long travel day and I was ready for bed.
